“Why Missions Rock” is the title of a video created by missionaries. Presented in a fun, quippy way, this video explores the benefits of serving a mission from the perspective of those currently in the field.

The video was created by a group of missionaries, including Hunter Evans, who explained that the video “was made during the heat of COVID and we were restricted in what we could do. So the creation of videos was a big avenue we found we could take! This video is the result of that!”

In the April 2022 general conference, President Russell M. Nelson said the following:

“Today I reaffirm strongly that the Lord has asked every worthy, able young man to prepare for and serve a mission. For Latter-day Saint young men, missionary service is a priesthood responsibility. You young men have been reserved for this time when the promised gathering of Israel is taking place. As you serve missions, you play a pivotal role in this unprecedented event!
