A small group of hymns being considered for the new Church hymn book, Hymns—for Home and Church, will soon be published digitally in the Sacred Music app, the Gospel Library app, and in the online music library as part of a gradual advance release. They will be published first in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, with other languages to follow.

The new hymnbook will include many new hymns as well as hymns that members are familiar with. After six years of work reviewing thousands of submissions and gathering hymns from across the world, the first batch of 12 hymns will be published on May 30, 2024. The batch includes the popular hymn “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing.”

More groups of new hymns will be released every few months until the full hymnbook is complete in 2026 in four languages. Up to 50 total languages will be published by 2030.
