A couple of things happened at about the time I published the following series:

Spiritual Vaunting and the Perils of the Rameumptom Syndrome
First, the Church updated its classic resource Teaching in the Savior’s Way. The significant, and seemingly only, alteration was the focus on the Savior. The rest of the points remain the same. The basic outline for teaching now stands thus:
  • Focus on Jesus Christ (Teach about Jesus Christ No Matter What You Are Teaching)
  • Love Those You Teach
  • Teach by the Spirit
  • Teach the Doctrine
  • Invite Diligent Learning
This change was introduced by Elder Uchtdorf. I transcribed the following quote from the broadcast which highlights much of what I cover in my series on spiritual vaunting.

“As teachers, we may speak with the tongues of angels; we may entertain, delight, amuse, astound. But if we have failed in keeping our focus on Jesus Christ, we have missed the mark and our teaching is only a shadow of what it ought to be. Always keep the focus on our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.” Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Teaching in the Savior’s Way with Elder Uchtdorf”. Address given June 12, 2022. Second, I read the following quote in an article in the June, 2022 Liahona:

Modesty is defined as “an attitude of humility and decency in dress, grooming, language, and behavior. If you are modest, you do not draw undue attention to yourself. Instead, you seek to ‘glorify God in your body, and in your spirit’ (1 Corinthians 6:20; see also verse 19).”1  Modesty: It’s about More Than Clothes By YA Weekly staff, Liahona, June, 2022. All of this underscores the points I made in the series.
