One could argue that Mormon women often suffer from self-esteem issues much like the rest of the world. Without looking to blame the media or peer pressure, sufficient to say, there is a pressure, more so for women than men, to be physically attractive.

In an effort to help combat the potentially harmful emotional and even spiritual effects that this focus can bring upon an individual, this video was produced showing what a woman would look like with 365 days worth of makeup on her face. The imagery is such that the entire face of the woman is all but lost and in a strange sort of way, the woman because grotesque as a result.

Some people view their face as a canvas and the makeup as the paint. No one finds art in just the canvas, rather what is painted on the canvas. This video seeks to switch that mentality around. Each individual is the art and the beauty is simply in their creation, not in what is done with that creation.
