Nancy Hansen talks with Chris Jones and his family about their many adventures in archery. From reading book after book on Native American bow making, Chris gained interest and skill in the subject. It began in college when he had the desire to make a bow and arrow just like Nephi. Now, the hobby has turned into a full-fledged family experience. The Jones family finds a unique pleasure in making the bows and arrows, swords and toy guns – all from wood – even a catapult. He shares how the experience of creating a bow from scratch and pulling the string back to fire off an arrow, has a Zen-like feel that keeps his passion for archery going.
