An article titled "Another Failed Presidency" says that "Barack Obama is on track to have the most spectacularly failed presidency since Woodrow Wilson."

I believe that Barack Obama is failing on many fronts:

Foreign policy. He is historically illiterate. Is no one advising this man? He continually botches overseas efforts by offending our allies and then apologizing to and placating our enemies.

Domestic initiatives. The health care debacle is not about providing affordable health care choices. It is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated. Obama appears to know nothing about economics. His stimulus efforts are contrary to the real needs of the economy and jobs. The stimulus bills are only prolonging the recession because all they do is channel money into the pockets of friends who got him and Congress elected. (All you have to do is follow the money trail.) He is trying to solve a skyrocketing national debt by increasing the amount of reckless spending! He believes you can forever squeeze money out of "big business" and it will have no effect on average Americans--that the money comes out of thin air. Somehow, he thinks that a handful of rich people can support an entire nation on welfare. (Do the math.)

Social justice. His notions of right and wrong don't make sense. He believes in social manipulation--"redistribution of wealth." This is just Robin Hood reincarnated, robbing from the rich to give to the poor--except he robs from the rich, keeps half, then gives to the poor so they can forever be under his control. He believes that social justice demands that minorities be given preferential treatment. He says that racial equality isn't sufficient, but that inequalities of the past must be repaid many-fold by giving minority races (particularly blacks) the upper hand. He pushes so many "universal" programs because they disproportionately benefit minorities. That's the best way, he feels, to right the wrongs of the past.

Connection with the American people. His approval ratings are in free fall. Currently, 53% of the country disapproves of how Obama is handling things. (40% strongly disapprove.) Dorothy Rabinowitz said in the Wall Street Journal that "He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people, and may indeed loathe them." His profile is fuzzy and he is unable to appeal to our own common sense. He has dissed about every category of Americans--financiers, energy producers, banks, insurance executives, police officers, doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, post office workers, and anybody else who has a non-green job.

Environment. His reasons for supporting green initiatives have nothing to do with the environment. He'd like us to believe in the cult of global warming, because it gives government more power.

Expanding government power. Obama has created numerous new agencies to control more aspects of our lives. These agencies have assumed power that the federal government never had before. He now has 38 czars, such as the anti-poverty czar, auto czar, TARP czar, AIDS czar, birth control czar, climate czar, compensation pay czar, energy czar, food czar, green jobs czar, health care czar, manufacturing czar, and even a regulatory czar. His green czar was run out of town when it was discovered he was a self-proclaimed communist.

Socialism. Americans are finally realizing what Obama meant on the campaign trail when he promised to "fundamentally transform America." They thought he was just going to change a few laws and give out some free stuff. Now they realize he wants to reshape society into a new, progressive society akin to socialism or Marxism. Obama does not see the Constitution as something to be revered and defended. He sees it as a fundamentally flawed document--an obstacle to what he wants to achieve for America. And Americans are waking up and saying that's not what they want America to become.

In two short years, we have the chance to say, "No thanks. We're not interested in your vision of America," and elect someone who believes in traditional American values, who honors the constitution, and who believes in freedom from a massive, controlling government.
