In the debate about the runaway cost of health care, you hear a lot about outrageous profits and bloated salaries of insurance company CEOs.

Only one problem: health insurance profits account for a measly 0.6 percent of health care costs and all those evil CEOs together account for 0.0005 percent of costs.

What other business has a profit margin of only 0.6 percent?
