This episode of “Conversations” features Ruth Todd as she interviews Herbert Klopfer, who has a fascinating story of growing up as a member of the Church in East Germany during  the World War II era. Brother Klopfer describes a dangerous and daring border escape and his subsequent life in the United States, where he pursued his musical interests and experienced some unique additional twists in his life. Through it all, the Church has had a great positive influence in his life, which is evident throughout the interview.
