Back in August, I wrote about the new LDS Maps site on LDS.org, previously known as the Meetinghouse Locator.

LDS Maps has now been released in the following languages: Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. With this new upgrade, more people around the world can search in their native language for the nearest places of worship worldwide, as well as meeting times, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I invite you to check out the upgraded, multi-language version of LDS Maps and let your friends know about it.

The application will detect the user’s browser language setting and display the appropriate language page (if the language is available, otherwise English will be displayed). Users can also change the language using the selector located at the bottom of the page. You can also link directly to LDS Maps by using the language code as part of the URL, for example, http://maps.lds.org/?loc=es will display the application in Spanish. For your information, the following are the language codes used: Chinese = zh, Czech = cs, Danish = da, Dutch = nl, English = en, Finnish = fi, French = fr, German = de, Italian = it, Japanese = ja, Korean = ko, Norwegian = no, Portuguese = pt, Russian = ru, Spanish =sp, Swedish = sv.
