At the end of World War II, when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps, he ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead.

He did this because he said in words to this effect: "Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened."

Three years ago today, the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, had the gall to come to the USA (where we provide him personal security) and stood in front of the United Nations and claimed that the Holocaust never happened.

Well, Mahmoud, I've been to the concentration camp in Auschwitz, Germany where somewhere between 1-3 million people died less than 70 years ago. I've walked through the buildings, stood in the gas chambers, and spent time contemplating in the execution yard.

I've seen the wall where a 5-year-old kid was strung up by his neck and where he thrashed about until he was dead. I then walked through the crematorium and saw the tables where the teeth were pulled from the dead and the hair cut off to sell, before the bodies were cremated. See photos of Auschwitz.

Don't tell me it didn't happen!

But in today's "tolerant" society, many hesitate to talk about the Holocaust because it "offends" Muslims who claim it never occurred. But it did happen. 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests were murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experimented on, and humiliated while the German people looked the other way.

The world must never forget.

How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center "never happened?"
