As you think about blogging, consider doing it in a foreign language. There is a real need for positive content about the Church in just about every language. In fact, in most languages the need is greater than in English. Most missionaries come home with a fluency, particularly in religion topics, that could be used for blogging.

Tools like Yahoo Babelfish and Google Translate can often help double-check vocabulary and grammar, though they cannot be heavily relied upon for good translation.  Even if you are hesitant to blog in foreign languages because you doubt your ability, remember that a blog with a few spelling or grammatical mistakes written by a member of the Church is a better search result than something anti-Mormon written by a native-speaker.
