"I really like the distinction that the author makes between intelligence and genius; one being IQ and the latter being inspiration. It is very important to remember where true art comes from, that it comes from within us, or more specifically, from God, and that each of us has the potential for artistic greatness." ~ Flipping through an old sketchbook this evening, I came across these thoughts I jotted down after reading the first chapter from Advice to Young Artists in a Postmodern Era by William V. Dunning and Ben Mahmoud, titled “Talent, Intelligence, and Art.”
