How many others are like her, languishing because the small hand up is unavailable for them to reach their true potential?
I don't think she's unusual. She received the help she needed. How many others die without it?
The next time you see images of those in poverty, oppression, and want, think of Astrid Tuminez in that same condition. Consider what she was able to do with a little assistance. This world is a lot better because she received it.
Others will be too.
Consider what you can do to assist those others.
