“God does not love one race more than another.” This is the clear message of President Russell M. Nelson in the Church’s video “All Are Alike Unto God: A Message on Racism and Unity in Jesus Christ.” This sacred truth has been taught through ancient scripture and living prophets. It invites us to reconsider how we view each other and ourselves.
Watch the video below:
In the Book of Mormon, we read: “…all are alike unto God.” (2 Nephi 26:33). This declaration transcends borders, cultures, and generations. It reminds us that in the eyes of our Heavenly Father, each of His children holds infinite and equal worth.
President Oaks teaches that “Racism is not consistent with the revealed word of God.” The Savior sees beyond race, status, and language. He looks upon the heart. As His disciples, we are invited to follow His example—to treat every individual with divine respect, compassion, and dignity.
Now is the time to abandon personal prejudice and institutional bias. Now is the time to walk peaceably, with love toward God and toward all mankind, free from racism and prejudice.
May we learn to see each other as He does: as eternal brothers and sisters, children of a loving Father, united in divine identity, sacred purpose, and eternal destiny.
