The First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles have updated the standard questions used by priesthood leaders when interviewing prospective missionaries. These updated questions more closely align with the temple recommend interview questions and are designed to foster discussion as leaders conduct “thorough, spiritually searching, and uplifting interviews with each candidate” (General Handbook, 24.4.2).
