The Church has published Church and Gospel Questions to provide resources for those seeking answers to gospel questions. It also provides ideas on how to help others with their gospel questions.
Church and Gospel Questions is found in the Gospel Library app and in the Gospel Library on the Church’s website.
This new site replaces Gospel Topics, which was the previous site with resources on hundreds of gospel topics.
Finding new information about the Church’s history, doctrine, or position on social issues can sometimes lead to questions. God promises to help us find answers. As young Joseph Smith learned, asking sincere questions can draw you closer to Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Within Church and Gospel Questions, be sure to read the following:
- Topics and Questions. Articles that teach important principles about how to find answers to your own questions and also articles about how to help other people with their questions.
- Member Stories. A collection of videos about members and their experiences in finding answers to their questions.
The five guiding principles for seeking answers to your questions are the following:
- Center your life on Jesus Christ.
- Be patient with yourself and others.
- Recognize revelation is a process.
- Consult reliable sources.
- Work to understand the past.
The five guiding principles for helping others with questions are the following:
- Respond with love.
- Listen with humility.
- Trust in the Lord.
- Nourish your own faith.
- Assist them throughout their journey.
