search-pioneers

July 24th is “Pioneer Day”—a day when we celebrate the courage of our ancestors.

This week, why not explore where your family came from? Who in your family was the first to accept the gospel?

The FamilySearch website can help you answer that very question with a feature called “Where Am I From?”

  • Sign in to FamilySearch.org using your Church account.
  • Click “Activities” and then “Where Am I From?”

You’ll see a map of the world with information about your ancestors. These aren’t just fun facts—it’s all part of the story of who you are.

Those who are brave enough to move to a new place, learn a new language, and achieve a first milestone are pioneers. Who knows, perhaps you are a pioneer in your family!
