8 ¶ And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

9 Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

The Savior quoted these verses THREE TIMES in the Book of Mormon. So it’s obviously important. But what was He talking about? Some of us, who never outgrew playing with fake guns and swords, might fantasize about literally going through some bad Gentiles like a lion among sheep. But what would that look like, anyway? Is it a physical battle? Is it a spiritual struggle? Has it been fulfilled? Is it yet to come? I have tried to study it for a while, but I’ve gotten nowhere. Any ideas?
