Already on Nephi’s plates he has attempted to give the reader a plentitude of testimonies of Christ from different sources. Lehi, Jacob, Isaiah, and Nephi himself have all born testimony of the savior. But here as Nephi approaches that conclusion of his plates he shares an even more special witness.

This chapter is the only one (or one of the only depending what you count) in holy writ where we can hear and see the father, son, and Holy Ghost together all bearing witness to the savior (3 Nephi 11 comes pretty close and also meets standard if we count the still small voice at the start). Thus. Nephi speaks of the Holy Ghost descending as a dove to witness Christ. And the voice of the savior is heard throughout the Chapter. But even more unusually, Nephi has a lengthy segment featuring the words of the father:

11 And the Father said: Repent ye, repent ye, and be baptized in the name of my Beloved Son.
15 And I heard a voice from the Father, saying: Yea, the words of my Beloved are true and faithful. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

As usual, when the voice of the father is heard it is a heard in bearing witness of the savior.

I love that Nephi allows us to hear from all three members of the Godhead in addition to his own prophetic witness.
