Just a little levity, such as is common amongst us hardy scripturatteurs.

2 Nephi 16-

However, what’s really remarkable about the chapter is the simple but plain fact that it plainly says that Isaiah saw God.

2 Nephi 15-

Isaiah goes after those who’re waiting for proof.  They won’t commit to living faithfully until God proves himself to them on their terms.

2 Nephi 14- after condemnation, redemption.

 

2 Nephi 13-

society will be turned on its head.  Old pieties, things that could be relied upon, traditional standards and roles, will be gone.  But, if they’re replaced at all, they’ll be replaced in what would have seemed to an ancient Israelite a distorted, hellish, unnerving, unnatural, carnival-funhouse sort of way.

2 Nephi 12-

Even if you haven’t been keeping up with my little project here, even if you have no intention of doing so, take two or three minutes and renew your acquaintance with today’s reading, 2 Nephi 12, which is a citation (with slight but perhaps significant variation) of Isaiah 2.
