In today's Mormonism in the News: Getting It Right, we include a commentary from one Latter-day Saint who explains the meaning behind the Church's full name (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). Pointing to the portion of the Church’s name that says “The Church of Jesus Christ,” this member writes: “Jesus Christ is the central figure of our church. We believe him to be our Savior and the Son of God.”
