Usually I can understand when the Church is complimented. This time I only vaguely get it. 
During his keynote at SES Chicago 2010, Avinash Kaushik, a website analytics evangelist and author said The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has “done a marvelous job…of doing great SEO (search engine optimization)." In an interview following his keynote address, Kaushik noted that the Church’s website ranks high in a Google search for “church” and that Church websites use a great deal of diversity in keyword terms to attract significant traffic. “We could learn from the SEO work that the LDS Church has done,” he said.
According to Wikipedia:
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a web site or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Other forms of search engine marketing(SEM) target paid listings. In general, the earlier (or higher on the page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.

Avinash Kaushik works for Google as a website analytics evangelist. From what I can determine he is the only person in the world with that job title. His remarks concerning the Church occurred at the SES Chicago in October. (SES is an acronym for Search Engine Strategies.) Mr. Kaushik was a keynote speaker.

He has authored two books entitled, "Web Analytics: An Hour a Day and Web Analytics: An Hour a Day and Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountability and Science of Customer Centricity. His blog is entitled, Occam’s Razor by Avinash Kaushik.  The American Statistical Association Chicago Chapter presented him with the 2009 Statistical Advocate of the Year Award.
