I was excited to interview Carol. I had heard of her passion for family history work and wanted to know more about how she did so much of this work even though she is legally blind.

But before we got to that topic, I got to learn other things about her.

First of all, she loves Native American culture. When she and her husband were newlyweds, they didn’t have a lot of money for vacations, so they would drive to the Four Corners region of the United States and soak in the culture there. Her father also had a great love for this culture and had given her some beautiful Native American artwork and artifacts that now are central to the décor in their home.
