Earlier this week marked the 41st anniversary of the horrendous Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court. Since then about 50,000,000 unborn babies have been killed.

Only 1.5% of abortions are because of rape or incest. 12% are because of the mother’s “concerns” about her own health (note that that is not the same thing as a doctor saying that the baby is endangering the life of the mother). The rest are for reasons related to wanting to avoid the consequences of having a child, including 14% because of pressure from a man involved. Note that overturning Roe v. Wade doesn’t mean that abortion suddenly becomes illegal everywhere. It means it returns to the jurisdiction of the various states.
