Lillie Woolsey, a 92-year-old widow, speaks with host W. A. Christensen first about her father, who was a miner. Just before she was born, there was a terrible coal mine disaster in Scofield, Utah, resulting in the deaths of over 200 miners. Lillie discusses the mood it created for decades to follow. She tells her story of endurance through this hardship as well as other family deaths and trials. Through it all she is positive, upbeat, and completely trusting in and grateful for the gospel plan.
